- Educational Qualification: Must hold a B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering Graduate degree in Electronics and Communication
2. Probationary Engineer (Mechanical)
- Number of Positions: 63
- Age Limit: Must be 25 years old as of September 1, 2023
- Educational Qualification: Must hold a B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering Graduate degree in Mechanical
3. Probationary Engineer (Computer Science)
- Number of Positions: 18

- Educational Qualification: Must hold a B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering Graduate degree in Computer Science
4. Probationary Officer (HR)

Salary Range: Rs 40,000 - Rs 1,40,000
Selection Process for BEL Engineer Recruitment
BEL's selection process for the 232 Engineer & Officer positions involves the following stages:
Candidates who meet the qualification criteria and have their online applications accepted will be provisionally shortlisted for a computer-based test.
Based on performance in the computer-based test, candidates will be provisionally shortlisted for an interview.
The final selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in both the computer-based test and interview.
Eligible candidates will receive their computer-based test call letter via the BEL website. Please note that call letters will not be sent via email or conventional mail.
Candidates with accepted applications will be eligible to attend the computer-based test at their respective centers. The call letters will be available for download on the BEL website.
Application Fee:
- General/EWS/OBC (NCL): Rs. 1000/- + 18% GST
- SC/ST/PwBD/ESM: Exempted
