Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2023
1. Security Assistant/Motor Transport
Number of positions: 362 (including 10 in Guwahati)
Category-wise vacancies:
- UR: 221
- OBC/NCL: 60
- SC: 34
- ST: 30
- EWS: 17
Salary: Level-3 (Rs. 21,700-69,100) in the pay matrix, along with applicable Central Government allowances.
Age Limit: Applicants should not exceed 27 years as of the closing date.
Essential Qualifications:
(i) Matriculation (10th class pass) or its equivalent from a recognized Board of Education. (ii) Possession of a domicile certificate for the State applied for.
Additional Criteria:
(i) Must possess a valid driving license for Motor Cars (LMV) issued by the competent authority. (ii) Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (ability to handle minor vehicle defects). (iii) Minimum one year of experience in driving a Motor Car after obtaining a valid driving license.
2. Multi-Tasking Staff/General (MTS/Gen)
Number of positions: 315
Category-wise vacancies:
- UR: 183
- OBC/NCL: 65
- SC: 0
- ST: 25
- EWS: 42
Salary: Level-1 (Rs. 18,000-56,900) in the pay matrix, along with applicable Central Government allowances.
Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 to 25 years as of the closing date.
