Disciplines: Electrical (EE), Civil (CE), and Electronics (EC)

Scale of Pay: POWERGRID offers an attractive pay package, making it one of the best in the industry. Selected candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 27,500/- per month during the one-year training period.

Upon successful completion of training, candidates will be absorbed as Junior Engineer Gr-IV (S1) in the Supervisory category with a pay scale of Rs. 25,000 – 3% - 1,17,500 (IDA).

Eligibility Criteria for POWERGRID Diploma Trainee Recruitment:

Age Limit: The upper age limit for candidates should not exceed 27 years as of September 23, 2023.

Age Relaxation:

• OBC/ NCL: 3 years
• SC/ ST: 5 years
• PwBD: 10 years, in addition to the category relaxation

Essential Qualification: Candidates must possess a Full-Time Regular Three-Year Diploma in the relevant discipline of engineering from a recognized Technical Board/Institute, with a minimum of 70% marks.

Note: Higher technical qualifications such as B.Tech./BE/M.Tech./ME, with or without a Diploma, are not allowed. Qualifications obtained through distance mode will not be considered.
