Scale of Pay:
Selected candidates will commence their journey as Management Trainees in E-2 Grade, with a monthly basic pay of Rs 50,000 during the training period. Upon successful completion of a 1-year training period and passing the requisite test, candidates will be regularized in E-3 Grade, with an initial basic pay of Rs 60,000 and a probation period of 1 year if not extended.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit: The upper age limit is 30 years as of 31st August 2023 for General (UR) and EWS category candidates.
- Age Relaxation: Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per government regulations.
Educational Qualifications:
- For Mining/Civil: BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in the relevant branch of Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
- For Geology: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Geology or Applied Geology/Geophysics or Applied Geophysics with a minimum of 60% marks.
Qualifying Marks:
- General (UR), OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and EWS category candidates must secure a minimum of 60% marks.
- SC, ST, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates are eligible with a minimum of 55% marks.
Selection Process:
- Eligible candidates must have appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) – 2023.
- Based on GATE-2023 Scores/Marks and specific requirements, candidates will be shortlisted discipline-wise and category-wise in a 1:3 ratio for further selection processes.
- The final merit list will be prepared for each discipline based on GATE-2023 Scores/Marks.
