The Directorate of Forensic Science Assam cordially invites applications from eligible candidates for 36 open positions as Scientific Assistants.

Position Title: Scientific Assistant

Number of Vacancies: 36

Salary Range: PB-2 (Rs. 14,000-60,500/-) with a Grade Pay of Rs. 7,600/-

Minimum Qualifications:

i) Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/Forensic Science with specialization in the relevant field.

ii) Bachelor of Science in Botany/Zoology/Anthropology (Physical)/Biotechnology/Forensic Science with specialization in the relevant field.

iii) Bachelor of Science in Physics/Electronics/Instrumentation/Forensic Science with specialization in the relevant field.

Age Criteria: Applicants should be between 21 and 40 years of age as of January 1, 2023 (with a 5-year relaxation for STP/SC/STH candidates and a 3-year relaxation for OBC/MOBC candidates).
