Position: Cultural Development Officer

Number of Posts: 28  

Pay Scale: Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 60,500 + Grade Pay Rs. 8,700

Educational Qualification:

• Option (a): Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a Government-recognized university with a Diploma from a Government-recognized institute in Dance, Drama, Film Editing, Motion Picture Photography, Acting, or Sound Engineering.
• Option (b): Bachelor Degree in Music (Vocal/Instrumental/Sattriya) from any Government Music College or Government-recognized institute, or Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts from any Government College of Art & Craft or Government-recognized institute, or Bachelor Degree in Cultural Studies from any recognized university or Government-recognized institute.

Preferable Qualifications:

• Adequate knowledge of the Cultural Heritage of the state of Assam.
• Candidates with National/State Level performance certificates may be given preference.

Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 and 40 years of age as of 01/01/2023. 

Age relaxation is available for:

• SC/ST candidates: Up to 45 years (5-year relaxation).
• OBC/MOBC candidates: Up to 43 years (3-year relaxation).
• Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 10-year relaxation, irrespective of category.
