All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guwahati, Assam, extends an invitation to qualified candidates for various teaching positions. We are currently recruiting for the role of Yoga Instructor on a purely contractual basis within the extramural research project titled 'Assessment of Heat Stress and its Impact on the Physiological and Biochemical Markers of Heat Strain - A Novel Approach for Predicting Heat Strain Among Factory Workers in North East India.' This project has been sanctioned to Dr. S. Krishnan, Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology.

Position: Yoga Instructor

Number of Positions: 1

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum 12th-grade education in science subjects
• Certification in Yoga therapy from a recognized University

Desirable Qualifications: i) BSc/MSc in Yoga therapy/Yoga sciences. ii) DMLT/BSc MLT iii) One year of research work experience following eligibility qualification. iv) Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel)

Monthly Emoluments: Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 15,000

Age Limit: Up to 35 years as of the date of the written test/Interview
